Subpar? It's the best game in the Ridge series for about 6 or 7 years.

Oh well.

Edge gave it 8/10 (and Edge counts). That's more than they gave NFS:MW.

yeah... when i rented it.. i thought it had decent graphics, but for some reason the fun factor that i found on psp didnt exist for me... hell.. at 20 bucks, its worth it for the xbox live factor.

edit: i wouldnt say by any means that this was better than NFS... obviously a personal opinion.

Absolutely. I personally don't like the NFS series but I know a lot of people who do and they generally dislike the Ridge series. I think it's also down to whether or not you played a lot of the early Ridge games. If i didn't then I probably wouldn't appreciate the arcady gameplay.

The PSP version was indeed a very good game and the 360 is like an extension to it.

My mane criticism is that it's a slow start but after a couple of hours play the game opens up and is addictive as hell. It's also crisp in HD.

Just don't forget to turn the commentary off!

Well your right, its not THAT bad but I guess I dont play games as much as you guys.

I play for maybe 10 hours a week.  So since time is limited I want to play games that aren't just so so.




I haven't seen it in action, so Im just basing my conclusions on the square pale sparks.  


I'll go ahead and rent it because I just assumed it sucked based on other people's comments.

Also Ridge needs to be played on inside view and other people made those remarks because;

a: they haven't played it
b: they are comparing it to PGR

It's a completely different and enjoyable game which you can just pick up. So if you feel you don't play games enough it's actually ideal.
