region free will work on any X360, just make sure your tv supports NTSC/60hz, vice versa.

But some of the region free games at that site say they are the 'Asian Version'... so you'd have to check if they had English menu's/in games.

The Asian version is usually the same as the Japanese version but WITH English menu's because they are for consumers in places like Hong Kong where there is a lot of English people. If it's a western game then it will be the same as the Western release.

It was the same with the PS2 and Dreamcast, if you imported an Asian version all the menu's and manuals were in English yet you were getting it at the same time as the Japanese release.

Although a lot of people don't have a problem with Japanese menu's it's only worth it when it's a game that isn't currently available in the West.

I doubt though that you will have any problems. It's usually a safe bet that only games developed in Japan will have Japanese only menu's.

Generally western games will simply have subtitles in Japanese which can quite often be turned off. In fact most  Japanese games themselves have English speech with the exception, generally, of RPG's
