Have you guys ever played Marathon?
It was made by Bungie in 1994 and had an incredible story, far ahead of its time and really cool graphics and sounds!
Unfortunately it was only released for Macintosh.

However there is an application called "Aleph One" which allows you to play the marathon series on almost any OS.
And I think there is even a source based on sdl available!!

I find it strange that games like quake have been ported to the xbox but not marathon.
So I think that this would be the ultimate game to port!

Very little interest my ass...

Marathon 1 and 2 were the unofficial prequals to Halo, of course this has been brought up...

...multiple times, if I knew how to code it, I would have ported it a LONG time ago, the XBOX feels naked without it.

Of course the controls would have to be tweaked a bit, the original controls were stale.

I'm a diehard PC guy, But Marathon Rocked!! Who ported it?

And I would think their would definitely be some interest in it.

I have always been interested in seeing this ported. I don't recall ever hearing that I was ported already...wouldn't it have already been on xbins or at least make the front page?
