Not exciting at all.  I have all these games already on my xbox running emulators...

If only my 360 could do what my old xbox does...

While these games are emulated on old xbox, I can't find any comparison to having Street Fighter II playable with the xbox live community.

Pac-Man better be like 200-400 points MAX, same with Frogger.

Hmmm...   What a waste,   $400 piece of hardware and its getting Frogger.  MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Come on lets see  some good arcade games.  Stuff that MAME on xbox can barely touch.

Oh yeah I love getting strange looks from the Game store employees when I talk about playing Hogans Alley and Duck Hunt on my xbox.

Its great, the other employees look at me funny when I start talking to one of them about modding (there is only one person there worth a damn to talk to heh), since he actually modded his shit too.

Oh well, SF2 better not be overpriced, not when I can find the original arcade board for 20-50 bucks anyway

A scheduled day of the week for Arcade releases is great, i hope they keep up with this format in the future, even if it has to be every 2nd or 3rd Wednesday.

I must say though after reading all of your posts. I still dont think any of that can compare the the xbox live arcade, i love high definition gaming. Nothing beats it in my book. I will probably buy all of these games. Even if i already have them on my modbox1

i beat the article tongue.gif

i was dissapointed contra wasn't on that list, but its been confirmed as being worked on, and in this months xbox magazine it said its going to be a port of the arcade version with brand new updated graphics, i can't wait to see how amazing the contra we end up seeing on XBL is. i have no idea what cloning clyde is, but all the other games on that list i'll definately be getting, froggers awesome, but damn do i wish it was galaga coming out tommorow

They removed the news source.

kinda lame reason.

If they were free or at least much cheaper I would get them.

But then again I still have all my old systems.

they're only 400 points, thats very reasonable i think. one of those 1600 point cards will get all the games i want for a month

----edit----

hmm, just saw that MS asked gamesultra to take the info down, i hope they aren't running behind schedule :/
