Best Racing Game?

So, I'm getting a 360 in about a week (22nd birthday present).  I definitly want GRAW, but I need at least another game to start out.  I want a racing game but I aleady beat NFSMW on xbox and i'm not so sure Project Gotham is my thing.  Is Burnout Revenge cool? I liked the other burnout games.  I just can't decide on what other game to get.  I'm trying to spend my birthday money wisely here.  Any advice?

BTW, I'm pretty damn excited for FEAR and Gears of War later this year.  Those are on my list of future buys.

Project Gotham 3 is great if you love a little more sim type racing.  Burnout Revenge is great if you haven't played the one on the Xbox 1.  You could always hold on to the cash and try out the demos on Xbox live Marketplace.  They have demos for Burnout and PGR3 along with other games.  That might be your best bet.

YES!
That's what I'd do... demos are a GREAT tool that can save you a lot of money.  This would be the best advice I can give.  Obviously Burnout is more Arcade-like and PGR3 is more similar to a simulation.
But, I'd say download both, give them a play.  Even try MotoGP and Ridge Racer (I guess bot everyone hated that game).  Give them all a play, THEN make your decision.

i rented all current racing games..and own pgr3 and i still think pgr3 is still the best one...car control is more realistic

PGR3 and Moto GP '06 get my vote. I own and enjoyed Ridge Racer but it's only for you if you enjoy it already.

Arcade Racing: Burnout Revenge
Sim Racing: Wait for Forza 2
Street Racing: Umm... NFSMW?

Personally, Revenge is my cup of tea and I still see tons of people playing online.  Never a dull moment!

Ok, its really not a racing game... more of a race/shoot 'em up/wanton destruction game....

Loads of fun though - the demo didn't do it justice

currently motoGP 06 and pgr3

forza2 will most definately own pgr3, but they are two different games

pgr3 is sim(ish) with a lot of spicey arcadey physics thrown in, its for the semi-serious racer

forza is sim through and through and can get aggravating (to me anyway)

so it really all depends on your level of racing, so as suggested get the demos and see what you like

I think PGR3 has the most realistic driving experience. You can't simply ride the railing like in Gran Turismo. The in car view is amazing in the right home theater. The only down side is that people will spin you out online. You may even by accident bump someone. This the only game I have gotten negative feedback on.
