Me neither.
I've only ever played FIFA... and I've always heard that was crap as compared to Pro Evo and Winning Eleven (which I had heard is always the best, BTW).

I've played both and I have to say PES/W11 is much better than FIFA.  I'm not sure why specifically, be it the handling or mechanics or whatever, but it is a superior game to FIFA.  If you love Football (yes, I'm an American ) and you've not played Winning 11, do yourself the service of at least trying it out.

this has to be the worst mistake of any pes release if like the 75% of pes fans you dont support a premier league team then your doomed, absolutaly unforgivable not to include an edit team names option ,

now i,m new to modded 360,s but have just had mine done, i would like to know if anyone outthere knows or thinks that some site or person can and will add a kind of patch or a file to replace so that the team names will be edited many thnx macca

iive had it for just over a week, im not even a foot ball fan but its far better then fifa

You don't have the original then. You have downloaded a "planted version". Hope you didn't sign into live.
Anyone interested in what the genuine original has, just ask.

i hate football, but i LOVED ISS on the N64, which is PES. has it retained the same greatness?

PES 6 is superb. It is the most realistic soccer game still. It may not have the license for some of the names but sheer playability is second to none. Not sure if the 360 version is worth the extra £10 over the PS2 version though. my PS2 version has not arrived yet. The 360 one turned up this morning.

i got my pes6 xbox 360 version the other day as ppl who ordered it from play.com got theres some as early as tuesday dont go shouting that mouth off until you get your facts right boy !

pes6 has not got the edit teams option !! read again
and if your saying it has then you live in disney world. this is what my post is about being pissed off with the no edit tams option that was on pes5 etc.

i had it over a week ago. and its original 2! the self owned game store by me sells the games as soon as he gets them instock unlike the chain store games and sites they wait untill the ofiicial release 99% of the time

as aways from pro-evo, fifa cant hold its own agains it.

id say the 360 version would be worth the extra tenner for the sheer fact i would be playing it on the 360 usng the best controller ever to grace the gaming community. I will probably pick this up in a few months when i can get it for £20

I will state it again. You are giving out false info.....boy so perhaps you should not shout your mouth off.
The game has Transfer players option..... you stated quite clearly it didn't
So come on tell me again it doesn't have it!!!

So no I am not actually on anything other than the genuine PES6

Search around the detail is not coming through me or through here. Suffice to say that you buy the original you get all the intended features (including tarnsfer options) and no hidden surprises.

Sorry to have to say this but having just played the PS2 version it is far superior in all departments. the play is slicker and quicker, the passing and movement control is tighter and the graphics are better. In particular the selection screens for players etc.
Big mistake on this 360 version konami. Plays like a pot of treacle in comparison.

I use the Dpad yes....but the new PES 6 plays just like the old Pro Evo 5 on the 360. The graphics are worse than the PS2 the sprint response is like treacle. The player selection screens look terrible. I love this game and have every version but I will not be bothering with the 360 version and will play the PS2 version. I am sad really that a far superior console is not being exploited and used by this game. I know it is only one game but it is the game I play all the time. I loved PES 5 when I played on the 360 even though it was an Xbox 1 game, but this latest is not an advancement at all. I do feel I have wasted money on the 360 version and it crossed my mind to blow the 360 out altogether.
I use manual player switching with the left trigger and the switching is far quicker on the PS2
Sounds like doom and gloom but it is only my opinion, many will play it and love it.

no its not only one game, and you obviously know this.................    like you, i play it f**king religiously - in fact, like i said, im in thailand - and my favourite way to spend evenings? Chang (the beer....) got dull, but winning eleven has a cult status here too................ am currently schooling all thais in a game ive 'technically' never played before.......

ive never played proevo 5 on the 360, but on the xbox it was the shit - far superior to the dog shit that was the ps2 version (and it takes a long time to realise this - i used to think the ps2 version was superior, but its worse in every way - AI, player switching, smoothness - only the dpad is better) - eventually all my ps2 pro evo mates agreed, but it took at least a year.......  (oh and every ps2 seems to play the game to a differing standard...... which was odd.)

i use semi (on two) switching (but switch manually before the comp changes player - i just don't like the consequences of an incorrect switch on manual: having to cycle through half the team to get back to the intended player), and am not happy that its not responsive. theres no need to say its 'only your opinion' - most people agree on proevo. The only difference of opinion is on dpad and analog - i prefer the latter because i take single players on diagonal runs and i find the dpad a bit crap for that (but it is more accurate in general).

i don't really give two shits about the edit names feature to be honest; so if the player switching aint that bad ill be ok............ in fact, id swap a little bit of lag for the xbl leagues..........
