I doubt it will ever happen, this site covers a lot more then modding with the intent of priacy... one of the most popular sections is case modding, we have product reviews, news, game chat (what you're viewing now)
Just look how big our 360 community was before the console was ever even hacked.
Besides there's nothing that proves the gamertag I'm showing is actually mine. For all they know I created this account to just get them to ban someone I had a bad gaming experience with.
In the past MS didn't even ban accounts they found being used right on modded consoles... they only banned the console allowing you to use your account elsewhere. This tells us that MS really doesn't care about console modding they just want to keep XBL clean.
I highly doubt you'll ever see them ban someone just because their gamer tag happened to show up in a forum with a hacking section.
I wasn't meaning banning for piracy, I was meaning for just having none stock bios in the first place.
I remember when people were getting banned and didn't know why, even after changing their eeprom over and over, which ofcourse turned out to be the flagging system.
All I'm saying is that with this site (and others) known for their 'creativity', and with the release of both xbox and xbox 360 DVD firmware hacks, that M$ will maybe pay more attention to what people are doing.
Surely instead of trawling (sp) through masses amount of XBL live data, they could just do those extra checks on suspected people from here, it would probably take up less resources too. and Result in more detections.
I know how big the x360 community was last E3, isn't that the time when you had to disable the site search engine (lol). All I'm saying is that M$ knows what we do here and could easily be the bitch and scan all our 360's when they are modded.
Oh yeah, something else OT, I can't upload a person photo or avatar, it says contact a member of staff. Do you know what is going on?
Thanks.
