Did you guys read the xbox-scene.com main page about xbox live anywhere? All M$'s products linked with 1 identity and

"On shadowrun demo PC can play online against Xbox 360. All transparent to end-user ... no need for setting IP stuff and so"

As far as I understand you can play 360 games against PC users of the same game!! If so awesome

Sounds like it would be bad for 360 users.  Its much more easy to cheat with pc games.

That and most PC gamers are deadly with a mouse and keyboard... so they'd prolly own the 360 peeps... I hear Huxley is gonna be on both and you can play against both.. .not sure if i'll like that but we'll see...

not necessarily. MS is in the works of an xbox 360 keyboard and mouse. They are thinking about doing this because it's one of their most FAQ on their website.

I personally don't like the entire idea of Live Anywhere. I mean I like the idea of PC players playing XBOX players and all, I just don't like that whole thing about like being able to have your friends list in your cell phone and that. I feel that's taking it a lil too far. Now all these 13 year old kids with cell phones (whos parents must be retarted) will be sending me messages while I'm playing or while I'm on my PC. Overall I think they are taking the integration too far, it's just video games for christ sake. I think I'll have to start "appearing offline" in the future so I'm not bugged to death.

cerealkillajme, I totally agree and I really hope that cellphone thing, they keep it in the States only biggrin.gif

And yes, don't like that idea either.. Shooters, pc has advantage.. Also, pc games can be modded and easily cheated. Leave it a console, not a pc. Dont feel like playing with mouse and keybord in my couch either. Just a controller and relax. This their idea of next gen??

me wants 360 with Wii controller. Now that would be a modding revolution

I think it will be a good idea for RTS games like LOTR:BME2 or C&C3, or even MMORPGs.  But I don't know about FPS games.

Agreed.  MMORPG's will be fine.  But FPS's will not be equal.

Think about all the problems with modders on Halo 2.  How can they expect to keep the cheaters in check on a PC?

only reason i don't play PC game is cos of mouse & keyboard (well its "table & chair" actually)... i work about 8 hours a day sitting front of computer. i'd rather go home, sit in my couch and play with a pad.

if M$ officially supports game as FPS with mouse & keyboard, that will be fucked up.  grr.gif
