The PS3 was VERY impressive. I hope for MSs sake they show something breath taking tomorrow. Otherwise this next gen battle could be over!

Cmon man it was nice, but very little of it was "breathtaking". The only thing i saw that made me really excited was Resistance(FPS). All the EA stuff is games weve been playing for 6 months and most of the other game footage was the same quality stuff weve seen for the 360(trailer wise). Just because theres a HUD on screen doesnt make it in game graphics by the way, dont be fooled. All in all ill be ther with $600 in hand on launch day, whenever that is, lol!

Meh. I would take any type of stand alone innovation over ripping core components from other systems and adding them to try and make the ultimate machine. I love the "sony market place" and the motion aware controllers. Their release tag line should be, "Why buy two other systems when we can steal all the base ideas and throw them into one box? Buy the PS3. It's 360 degrees of Revolution. Wii!!!"

Jimbo, why dont you say that about Nintendo?

the 360 will do better than Nintendos system(sales wise, and I wont type that gay ass name they gave it).

MS will never drop out of the console business, Im a little surprised at your comment. Youre in a timeout until further notice. MS will sell 30 million 360s, thats not losing, Thats taking market share away from sony.

Aaron my old friend.

We have seen this before. You know me from way back. I'm an original Sega guy. Nintendo should stick to handhelds, they have some pretty good first party games but as a whole they are out of the next gen market IMO.

Downloading old school games is not a new idea sega had the sega channel for christ's sake.

The smoothness and fluidness was what caught my attention. The graphics are not head and shoulders above. I am cheering for MS to drop a few bombs tomorrow.

There have been some good news that later came out about the 20 gig missing features.

Lets face it Sony has the japanese market on lock down. MS will not be able to make ground in Asian markets.

The Xbox 360 is without a doubt the most impressive system I have ever seen.

Sony is the typical japanese company that steals technology and call it their own. With the modeling of xbox live and the motion sensored controller Sony has positioned itself as the all in one system.

They have the HD blu ray disc player as well. They have all bases covered and it is hard to see how they can fail.

I hope you can forgive me and take me off your SHhhh list now.

I will be paying close attention to what MS has in store for us.

I fully expect them to announce the add on HD-DVD player for less than $150.00 as well as an upgradeable 100 gig Hard drive for about the same.

MS will need to do what they do best. Acquire as many BIG game developers as possible.

Im going on you SHHH list after this next comment. MS should buy EA !!!!

The PlayStation 3 will come in two configurations, one will have a 20GB hard drive and the other will have a 60GB hard drive. However, losing 40GB isn't the only downgrade with the 20GB version. The 20GB version, priced at $499, will not have Memory Stick, SD, or Compact Flash inputs, Wi-Fi capabilities, or any HDMI output.

Um cuz if so, the console war is OVER.

yeah, the gay 20 gig is worse, and more hobbled than the non premium 360, especially with their 10 year old controller design
so the "good" version costs a whopping $200 more than the premium 360
theyd better have more up their sleeve, because their marginally better hardware doesnt cut it for that price

on a side note, whats whith square totally ignoring 360?

Ok so far the Kenji game looks cool.
The Ninja chick game looks pretty impressive.
It's a bad video feed but it looks like this game might have very good graphics.
So far the animations on both of these games look pretty impressive.
I like what I see so far (at least from those two titles even though they are very similar).

Hmmm.... I suppose AFRICA was running in real time.
If so, that was pretty impressive. Again, the animation looks very good.
So good in fact it stands out more so than the graphics.
I wonder if this will be the PS3's bread and butter.

Eight Days looks good.
Yeah it's scripted but it looks real time.
The physics, animations, and graphics look cool.
The gameplay doesn't, it looks like it plays a lot like the Dead to Rights games.

The Tomb Raider/Indiana Jones with a fanny pack knock off title from Naughty Dog looks like it might be good.
Even though the adventure concept isn't very original, it looks like it has potential.
The graphics are a mix bag but look good none the less.
Again, the animation looks impressive in this one as well.

Ok Resistance is the one title that's really caught my attention so far.
It looks like a mix of Killzone 2 and Black.
The animations look ok, but the physics look a lot better.
The graphics seem cool but it's hard to tell from the $hitty video source.
It looks like it has some nice elemental effects as well.
The enemy AI looks just as bad as the enemy AI in Black though.
The level design is rather bland as well.
Not killer app potential since it looks like it won't offer much, just run and gun shooting similar to Black.
But I like my games simple, so some might like this game if the controls are tight.
