do they have a WRX in the demo, or a Corvette Z06, if so I can test how "real" it is...

I drive a WRX and my father owns a Z06, in PGR2 driving the WRX gave me goosebumps it was so true to the real deal in terms of acceleration braking and cornering, even the shift points. The sound was slightly off and it was PGR2 so it wasn't the best looking car but man the characteristics were DEAD NUTS.

There's no WRX in PGR3 but there is a Z06 and I got the same feeling from that as I did with the WRX in PGR2....

Even GT and Forza didn't give me that feeling when I played those games, they felt sluggish and less nimble. Now maybe they acted more true to life but felt different being fed through a controller and PGR was less true to life but attempted to make it feel real I don't know... all I know is driving the 'rex in PGR2 I knew what the car was going to do before it did it because it felt exactly like the car I drive daily.

It looks great, it has great gameplay, there are two levels with boss fights and you can control a mech suit. Controls are mediocre but it's a prerelease demo so I hope they will adjust it a bit. I don't like the fact that you can move the crosshair without turning. Especially on small ledges it can be frustrating to walk there without falling down. Total playtime for the demo is approx. half an hour. So it's well worth the download.

Well, in a way TD:U is a whole different game, but the fact that everyone is looking for a good racer has me dissapointed of pgr2 vs. pgr3. The graphic arent as great as pgr3 but the gameplay was something i really liked. Have your own character, drive in-car view in a free-roam enviroment... This is what i LOVE in a racing game (though nfs's sucked:personal opinion!!!) I played this demo at least 5 time already. I only played pgr's demo (before i got it) once. The longivity of this game really shows, so if you like long-lived games.. this seems like the next-gen racer-killer app.. (Not a word) BUT we will see when everything is worked out, and the final rev comes out. So this comment MAY change.

I hope i don't get flammed again...  sad.gif

Dled all demo's too. Only BIA and Sonic Looked good. And that zombie slashing game might be fun as well. Altough it might gonna get boring 2 after a while. And that game with that scary lady looked promissing till I saw some ingame footage, dunno what the game is about even. Whas that a zombie 2? Might be good, might be trash. Lord of rings will be a great game if u like RTS games also

I think you're safe.  MS will probably leave this stuff up for at least 30 days... if not forever.  It may be restructured whenever that rumored dashboard update comes, but they've worked too hard to secure some of that content to just let it vanish into the cyber-ether.

I just want the damn UNO game to come out.  laugh.gif

And lost planet.  biggrin.gif

Excellent find.  My only problem is... it looks the same at first blush.  The water effects are vastly improved, but the sand still looks like DOA3 sand.  And I really wish Itagaki would get away from that "clump" hair.  I'm fine with the anime art style, but the hair kills me.  Still... I look forward to what all this turns out to be..
