I rent games from Rojers video. You can only rent out games for 5 days though and its a dollar a day if you want to add days to the rental.

Don't know about gamfly, etc. I have had great luck on ebay.

Perfect Dark collector's edition $27 (still in plastic!)
King Kong  $28  (used, great condition)
Oblivion $49 (used, works fine)

You just have to be patient, and bid on things that end soon. Usually after midnight!

Gamefly shoudl be getting faster. They've been sending me survey's on how long it takes a game to get to me. They are also setting up a new system called FastReturn. When you put a game in the mail, the US Post Office scans it and the warehouse automatically sends out your next game. This is much better than having to wait for the first to be received.

fastreturn is nice... when it works... it seems hit or miss with me, but it is cool to return a game and have the next one sent out the next day.

I know for my little brother's Gamesnflix account takes about a week to get the next game.  But if you get 2 games at a time, you can send one back while your playing the other, and then when you get your next one, you send the one you were playing back and play your new one while waiting for your next one.  Then you'll be constantly gaming.  I'm sure that would work with just about any online rental company though.

I'm still gonna stick with my Blockbuster account myself though.  30 bucks a month, no wait time, and as many rentals as I desire, one at a time though.

@Boyscout

I would NOT rent FFXI. It's an MMO that requires a monthly subscription... there is no single player, it's multiplayer only. So even if you rent it you still have to pay the $12 a month fee... IMO it's stupid that GnF is even renting it. If you BUY it, it comes with a 1 month trial, renting it you can be sure that it doesn't include the trial. Not to mention there are a few stores GIVING the game away as part of a promotion.  rolleyes.gif

Since ditching Game Lender I signed up for Gamerang because they have distrobution centers near me on the east coast (PA and NJ).

I've only done one game with Gamerang so far but I signed up on the 9th, and put some games on my list... ALL of them were ready to ship and they said I'd recieve it on the 12th... on the 12th I checked my mail box and sure enough it was there.

I played the game and shipped it back on the 2nd... they haven't recieved it yet but I assume the will either later today or tomorrow.

i personally have a blockbuster online movie subscription, and this comes with 2 free instore game rentals per month. i rent them one at a time and hundred percent them usually, so this works out great for me.

WOW- I think I might be switching over to gameznflix. Its so CHEAP

Gamefly
1 out at a time- $16.99
2 out at a time- $21.99
3 out at a time- $24.99

Gameznflix
1 out at a time- $8.99
2 out at a time- $12.99
3 out at a time- $16.99

So Gameznflix is
1 game out- 8 dollars cheaper per month
2 games out- 9 dollars cheaper per month
3 games out- 8 dollars cheaper per month

So if you rented 3 games out on Gamefly and then switched to Gameznflix you would save $96 per year....
