It's gotta be WoW. Considering how huge it is and how fast it's gaining new players combined with the fact that MS recently annonced that they opened the XBlive servers up to developers to give them more freedom... I can't see it being anything else.

My reasoning:

So I think Epic has been wanting to show other game houses what their Unreal3 engine can do on the 360 and PS3, help their license sales for the next few years on these two platforms.

It's not going to be WoW because Blizzard already said, rather definitively, "NO". Companies have lied before, but I can see Ghost coming long before WoW.

I can see Myst coming. That was given the "best selling PC game" award a few years back wasn't it? I don't want that crap, but it's a possibility.

I don't think it will be UT or Unreal because UT2007 will probably be splashing down in the not too distant future. I can't see them cramping their own style...

I will eat coal and shit diamonds if DNF came out. Dumbfounding wouldn't be the right word. (On a side note: Isn't it ironic that Duke Nukem Forever shares the same initials with "Did Not Finish" leetspeak?

I could care less about HL2. FEAR would be cool, as I've never played it.

What else is the PC good for...?

an Unreal being announced is out of the picture, like Lowprof said, Ut2007 is their baby and they wont take hype away from it. DNF doesnt exist, so thats a No.

Id *like* to say the original Tomb Raider but that was a hit on saturn and ps1, not so much the pc

I honestly cant think of anything that would garner such hype, thats why when you couple that with 1up and the pile that they truly are, it will be a waste of time to ponder this any further. Im upset at myself for posting about this several times

i'm thinking FEAR. i'd say WoW otherwise but with FFXI or whatever ff number is coming out i don't think they'd announce WoW a week (or two) later. if it's hl2, i'll be let down because it's already on the original xbox. FEAR would definitely be a step in the right direction for the 360 and will fit into the "next-gen" talk that MS is constantly pushing. also it would be the most fun

note: sorry about the skepticism on FF but i just don't pay attention to it, not my type of game

screw Fear....I want my Barbie Horse Adventures dammit!!......

....seriously, I've been hoping for the FEAR announcement, maybe now I can finish it....best I can do with my 5950U is 800*600 at med settings and it still dips below 30fps like crazy, just don't feel right....I'm not buying a new pc anytime soon so, xbox3sexy in full glory is for me!....Half Life 2 would be cool too, but my pc had enough horsepower for that save for the HDR demo...it'd be nice to get the new episodes (whenever they come out) through xblmp also...

fear is a game that will keep you on the edge of your sit with its good and creepy atmosphere
and the max payne bullet time effects are pure next gen

download the demo im sure it could be playable with all the settings super low
(i think)
