i wonder what game could be so big that it would mark "one of the biggest days in 1up's history".  the obivous guess would be WOW, but that doesnt seem to be a sure thing.  lol maybe its duke nukem forever coming to the 360 as an exclusive.  

i just really hope this news is NOT like the whole ign.com rockstar table tennis fiasco.   dry.gif

Seriously, if its "one of the 'biggest PC games' around is getting an Xbox360 version"....

May I ask why Duke Forever was mentioned? Last I checked(8 years and counting), it doesnt exist for anything. Still "under" development maybe...dont go there.

Back to Planet Earth.....Im praying its HL 2, FEAR would be more than acceptable too.

Because its 1up related, it will be a pile of shit, guaranteed. It could even be MYST or something along those lines. 1up just loves to press peoples buttons and get people to their pos website, they cant do it any other way.

This reminds me of "rockstar is making a huge exclusive for the 360" and its fuggin ping pong  jester.gif

That gave me a chuckle im thinking its FEAR and its possible for HL2 because they had the versions on xbox anyways but they weren't comparable to the pc version. Be nice if they came out with CS source.

as far as it being fear, i would love it but i dont believe the game is huge enough to warrant this kind of attention from 1up.  even though i agree with deftech that they would say anything to get people to their site.  FEAR and hl2 are great games, but i just dont see it being them.  the semi-sequal to fear was already confirmed to the 360 so i dont see the prequal gathering this much attention.

honestly, i see it being WOW, which i hope its not.  have nothing against the game, i just dont play MMOs and would love for the "big PC game" to be something that i would actually play.

i only mentioned duke forever for humor purposes.  on a related note there is some actual news that has surfaced....

its pre-E3 time, ofcourse something has surfaced. Youre a game veteran, you know april/may has no rules, all gloves come off.

If its WoW, I'll laugh harder than I did for that ping pong shit, and after that I'll be disgusted.

FEAR would kick some major ass... however id hate to see it get ported poorly and SUCK like some of these other ports.
