We all know that ps2 was such a success 'cause of GTA.

Well... this really pisses me off... I'm sure Sony had planned this just to attack the 360 (obviously)

i dont entirely love the gta series but do enjoy them, and being i live in chicago i would love for this to be out on the 360, hopefully the 360 will manage to squeeze this game out somehow, depending on the features of the ps3 at launch i might pick one up who knows, i had a ps1 till dreamcast came out then never touched the ps1 ever again, and ive never owned a ps2 so depends on what the ps3 has to offer, if it indeed does include blueray and the cost of a stand alone blue ray dvd player is as much as a ps3, might as well go with the ps3 right?

I beg to differ, but wasn't it the halo series that boosted the sales for the xbox and sales were more than the game cube? Correct me if I'm wrong but Ive read an article stating the fact how much the halo series helped.

Whlo cares if its realor not, GTA series is o played out. Next-Gen to me means new experiences. Are you telling me we can only get ports, extended series (like GTA) or more fucking FPS's? come on..... allot of us, myself included, are getting sick of of these games. When yuo go to the store all you see is continued series..... sports.... and FPS..... make something new for god sake

i hope gta will come to 360.. and i hope its not like a year after the ps3 version comes out. i really enjoyed playing gta but it was gay playing the ps2 version and 1 year later the xbox version comes out...

At first I thought "I knew it, MS is too dumb to get this right even the second time" referring to them losing GTA3 and all subsequent GTA games for an exclusivity deal to Sony (GTA3 was completely exclusive until proven otherwise and the rest had a 6month delay).

Now april fools or not, I feat this WILL actually happen. Wakey wakey MS. Next-gen is not next-gen without a revolutionary GTA game from the GTA makers themselves (not some talentless copycats).

When I heard GTA3 was coming out for "consoles" exclusively and the xbox1 was coming I thought I'd get the better console and the better version. Then BAM exclusive to PS2 so I HAD to get the PS2 just to play that one game. GTA3 sold alot of PS2 units for sure.
