Transfer 360 Gamertag To Normal Xbox?

Not possible. Once you create a 360 account, it won't let you use an Xbox with it, just a 360.

true but if you have an xbox account and make it gold on a 360 you can use it on either

Thats not true at all. If you recover your xbox live gold account onto your xbox1, it will work on both consoles. So go to account recovery on your xbox1. It will not affect your 360 account at all.

i haven't tried this, but i tend to agree with metaldevil, i remember reading some interviews about that before the 360 came out,... saying that if you create your account on the 360 you can't use it on xbox1,.... but i dunno, maybe the recover thing would work,.... but then each time you switch would have have to re-recover?

yea, if you initiate it on a 360 i dont think it can go back to an xbox... however you can do it the other way around.

someone please prove me wrong, as i hate paying for 2 accounts...

Do a little reading first, and make sure your information is correct before posting.
