Which One Is Better?
« on: March 13, 2006, 06:33:00 PM »

I have a choice to sell one of my two games, either Need for Speed:Mw or Call of Duty 2. I beat Call of Duty 2 on normal diffculty and enjoyed the multiplayer on the rare occasions when it worked. I like Need For Speed Most Wanted and I am at the third boss, I partially enjoy the multiplayer altough lots of the time it is laggy. I like both games equally, but I want to take an advantage of selling one of these for a future game liek Far Cry, Oblivion etc therefor it's a hard desision for me.  Which game do you think I should sell? Thanks in advance.

usually what i do is i look at the type of game i am trading for and trade in a similar type... Example....
If I wanted to get Ridge Racer 6 and I was either gonna trade in PGR3 or PDZ, I would pick PGR3, that way I still have a shooting game and a racing game instead of 2 racers....
Just my little thought but whatever suits u best

That's a smart idea, i'm going to sell Call of Duty 2. I beat the game before, and the multiplayer can be a pain. The game in future I will buy will be Far Cry Instincts at the end of the month as well as oblivion. I think I will have a lot of variety, but lots of shooting games  laugh.gif !

I say you can never have too many shooting games... but maybe that's my violent side speaking.... I myself never trade games... I like to be thought of as a collector to my friends.... they wanna play an older game I rent it to them for less than the rental store...lol...

i like to beat and sell mine while they are still worth most of the cash i paid for it... then later down the road when its 20 bucks ill pick it up if it was that good...

usually only keep a game for xbox live, or if its an amazing game, like i wouldnt sell call of duty, and im guessing ill hang on to oblivion once i get it

If you haven't played CoD2 on Vet, then your missing out on a whole new game. Concerning the MP, a patch will be out soon...

In other words, you wont see my CoD2 on ebay anytime soon.

COD2 on Vet is just AWESOME, it's hard but it's intense and probably one of the most for filling gaming experiences I've had in a very long time.

I'd say keep COD2 and sell NFS... COD2 will hold it's value a lot longer then NFS will, COD is pretty much an exclusive while NFS was released on last gen consoles months before the 360 release, also it's a fairly generic arcade racer with not much replay value so expect it's price to be dropping fairly soon (especially with Burnout out now, and Test Drive Unlimited right around the corner).

Also sell NFS because I want to buy it from you, seriously I'll give you $40 shipped for it  (no joke).

I'd at least wait until the MP patch comes out for COD2 before you pass final judgement.

I had both of these games and my advice is to do what i did and sell them both.

COD2, i beat it on normal as well, and i don't know if your like me or not. But once i beat a game thats it no more single player. I won't go back and play the same game again on a more difficult level, to me thats boring. The multiplaye is good, but laggy and only 8 players is not what you should expect from a next-gen game. I sold both and got GRAW, after this game you will NEVER go back to COD2.The graphics alone in GRAW make COD2 look 1st gen (no joke) (COD2 is awesome game, but nothinig compared to GRAW)

NFS MW, i found i just stopped playing this game.... so i sold it and preordered BF2 MC

Just my 2 cents. think to yourself, if you keep these games, will you honestly play them later on? If so then keep the game your most likely to play, otherwise ditch them both (if you can)
