Not sure about that, but I've heard MS has a 'list' of BC games on their website. Check it out.

I remember reading somewhere that Black uses the same engine has the Burnout series. I'm not sure (correct me if I'm wrong) but I believe that the Burnout games are not BC so......

There is an update due for March however (read that somwhere to).

Guess we won't know for sure until it comes out, but it isn't looking good.

PS. I agree with miggidy as well. The demo really didn't do this game justice.

This is the 3rd thread I've seen asking if Black is backwards compatible, and the game isn't even out yet...

I liked the demo in OXM. I won't be upset at all if it's not BC. Xbox games play best on Xboxes not 360s. Some games only look slightly better on the 360.
