Ive tinkered around with it to no end, but now I AM BORED, tired and want to play games. What are the top 3 games every 360 owner should have? The only title I purchased was king kong at a discount and I was pleased.

IMO the 3 games that every person should have are:

COD2
PGR3 and
DOA4

provided you like FPS, Racing, and Fighting genres.

If you offer some of your tastes in games perhaps we can tailor this list a bit more to your liking.

I found I hated PGR3 and DOA4

Definetly
COD2

PDZ (50% love it & 50% hate it. I love it)

NFS MW , Arcade, Fast racer, if you like sim then get PGR3

Overal, I think everyone will agree COD2 for singlke player is the best and since the patch (which was only to support sibngle player saves) the online has been flawless for me at least

Definately COD2.  No question about that one.  My next suggestion would be Kameo. It has amazing graphics and is a fun game to play.   After that I'd say Condemned.

It all really depends on your preference of genre though.

And don't forget Geometry Wars.  I know it's only Arcade, but myself and almost everyone else loves it.
I couldn't suggest it more.  When you get around 400,000, it starts to get insane.  You can't even see your ship!

not in any kind of order:

CoD2, PDZ, DoA4, condemned (really look into this one), PGR3, Kameo, and Quake 4

the best suggestion anyone can really make for you is to check out the marketplace for videos and demos....

every game has atleast a video out and the fallowing games have a demo out for downloading:

Kameo

I know there are also demos for King Kong and COD2 in the Kiosks and on OXM discs but I'm not sure if they're availble in the marketplace. FFXI also has the free Beta Disc availble on an OXM disc.

Every Xbox 360 owner needs....

COD2
Need For Speed: Most Wanted (I think that its better then PGR3)
Fight Night Round 3 (You will have to wait a while but it will be worth it if you like the demo).
Perfect Dark Zero (I know alot of you hate it but I think thats its one of the best games on Xbox 360).

Call of Duty is a very good port according to everyone but the multiplayer mode is a bit restricted afaik... (dont have the game unfortunately).

Perfect Dark Zero is a bit of a hit or miss. Id rent it first before buying it, some people love it (especially the multiplayer), some people hate it.

PGR3 is KICKASS in every sector. If you are even remotely interested in cars, buy the game. Its also a VERY good challenge.

Dead or Alive is very very good, eye candy wise, gameplay wise and multiplayer wise. Go get that as well.

Condemned has an excellent single player mode but no multiplayer and limited replayability...so i believe its just rental material (i did buy it though...).

Kameo is VERY good contraty to what youve heard. Excellent visuals, very good gameplay, and i belive it has online coop (havent tried it online though).

If i had to pick just 3 id go for

PGR3, DOA and COD/PDZ (ok thats 4 )

my personal opinion is go get a game pass from blockbuster, or gamefly through the mail or something.  I always like trying before I buy.  Hell, I beat COD2 and wasn't throughly impressed with the multiplayer aspect of it, so I was glad I was able to return it and grab another without having to be stuck with a game I completly beat.
