no way will it run in 1080p.  the ps3 does NOT have the fill rate to handle games at 1080p.  also the whole 720p vs. 1080i debate has been argued about so much its a mute point.  to me high def is high def and they both look damn good.

you will get both sides of an arguement on that question.  however majority of opinion seems to believe that where the ps3 may have the advantage on the 360 in the CPU area, the 360 has the advantage over the ps3 on the GPU side.  there are many features you can point out about both to make a statement.  IMHO, yes the xenos is a better built GPU.  it has 48 pipelines where the ps3 only has 24.  couple that with the unified shaders and it should make the 360 a shader monster to be reckoned with.  basically for every technical advantage one console has, the other can claim something else to offset it.

I back up Kage on this one.  The RSX is like an afterthought... thrown in there to provide the support that Cell alone can't do.  I gotta say ATI wins this round.

i see nothing wrong with well informed people correcting someones assumptions.  also about the cards its more or less of a toss-up.  however unified shaders aside, the pipelines DO make a difference.  i gave my personal opinion, and thats an opinion of someone who loves Nvidia hardware.  however recent releases would point to ATI taking the lead in not only performance but also in video quality......

but in the end its all based on a matter of opinion.  to me they mostly just end up pretty even and like i said before, for every advantage one company can point out, the competition has an advantage of their own as well.

me too, i cant wait for all of the next gen systems to be released just to get the next gen fully rolling.  that way hopefully more developers will start to concentrate only on next gen systems/engines/games.  

also about your wish to see actual running software, your wish will be granted sooner then later....

i dont think an actual ps3 vs. 360 debate is taking place here (for once), what is being debated is if the ps3 version of CoD2 will be vastly improved like some (ozy for instance) would believe.  Master X asked an honest question IMO and was given answers, both biased and not.  

as for the spiderman game, i would imagine they are going to make a video game version of the third movie.  so there is no telling how many enemies will be in it, though i think its safe to say that it will be the largest spiderman game yet (hopefully).  cant wait to see what they do with villains like venom on the next gen systems.

It will most likely be loosely based on the new movie...where I hear spider man dons the alien symbiotic suite and faces venom! This will be great on the big screen and will be a great 360 game as well!
