Medal Of Honor: Airborne

QUOTE

There are few companies more multi-platform oriented than Electronic Arts. The publisher doesn't know the meaning of the word exclusive, making the latest word on their next Medal of Honor game little of a surprise.

Medal of Honor Airborne first came up last summer as a rumored PlayStation 3 launch title, then reappeared in December on releases lists for Xbox 360 - but EA denied anything was up. This month, though, they're blowing the lid off their next shooter in the pages of Game Informer.

Needless to say, the publication confirms Medal of Honor Airborne is headed to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and all current generation platforms, too. That's the shock of the century right there! The cover mentions parachute drops, four player co-op, "interactive battlefields," and "life-like facial technology" as part of the shooter's next-gen package.

An official announcement should be coming soon - stay tuned.

Please Please Please let this be almost as good as the original was!

The bolded blue is what grabbed my attention smile.gif

The only other game that Id like to see as much as a good MoH on 360, is Americas Army made specifically for 360 from the ground up.

Only if it were that simple  sad.gif

Well isnt Infinity Ward (CoD2) made up of the people who made the original MOH:AA for PC, who EA then fired for cheaper labour.

So chances are, it wont be as good since it will be made by outsourced chimps in the jungles of south america, quality assurance by baby elephants (neither of whom are native to the continent and have been imported for tax evasion reasons).

my lil bro just got his mag and the article does seem rather impressive.  however there is something that i am confused about.  there is a note on the side of one of the pages stating that all images are in-game unless otherwise stated, however the beginning of the article reads: "A video combining running interactive game software and target footage exhibiting Renderware on the Playstation 3" <- doesnt all this just mean it was a tech demo and nothing more?  you would figure that the interactive game software was a real-time playable demo and the target footage was either rendered or real-time footage that they made to set a visual bar to match.  while looking at the pics though, the only captions that point to any screen not being in-game are only concept art.  either way if they can get this level of detail throughout the entire game then it will look as good as MGS4 and GoW if not better.  here is the full article i guess on the net....

Not much to say when half is supposedly real time, and the rest is that shitty ass, "madden all over again" Target footage. Im not even going to try and decide whats real or not.

Bastards!

As long as its not putrid like all the MoHs were on xbox, I may get it. If its 4 player coop, EA *might* see my $$ for the first time since Andretti Racing on Saturn 10 years ago.
