Yes the 360 dvd drive is more sensitive to reading disc because it needs to be to read real time so thats your problem
you need a new disc

What do you mean by that?  And how does the data taken from the 360's dvd drive any different then the xbox's?

you could mail MS - but I'm guessing you'd be waiting a very long time to get your issue resolved - you could always be evil, and rent one from your video store, and return your copy instead of their - but you'll probably go to hell for that . . . .
