Halo 2 Lagging On 360 Live

I have played Halo 2 on LIVE since Nov. 9, 2004 on my old XBOX.

Since I got my 360, I've played Halo 2 on it, on LIVE, and I get unusual lag. . . the gameplay is jumpy and movement is awkward.

Does anyone else experience this on their 360?

Does anyone have a solution (not just a rant)?

I think I know what you mean... I get it but not *real* often.  What happens is if there is too much action (like 6 people converging in one area and fighting) it acts like the emulator gets overloaded, and the game gets all choppy for a few seconds then stops.  

It's not bad enough that I have done anything about it... in fact I've play since launch day and dealt with it.  So for me at least, it's not a real big problem, just an annoyance.

The most I, or anyone can really suggest is to make sure you have the latest BC profile. Halo 2 has already had 5 profile revisions since launch... the profile that comes preloaded being the worst of them.

Considering you're playing on LIVE, meaning you have access to it, I'd imagine you DO have the latest profile, but what else can you do?

Yep. I was updated on my old XBOX, and I went through the process on my 360 of updating with the mappack, and I think I recall the 360 going on live to pull the emu patches and such. So I think mine is updated.

Is there a way you know of on the 360 to delete the updates for the halo 2 emulator and reinstall?

It just sucks. Mine will glitch bad if there are even 3 people fighting on the same screen.

Sold my Halo2 with xbox 6 months ago,,, then walmart has it for $19.99 so picked it up.. with xbox 360 halo2 and the new halo2 multi pack (which i never played before) game is brand new to me again and no lag

I wish i could just start playing the campaign.. never even tried it once

i have the same problom. i even have it with halo1 aswell. i was trying to play system link and it feels like crap. theres slight lag but when in a battle its very noticable.
