lol, so tell me the story about why Madden 06, Live 06, TH:AW and the other games made for xbox then ported for the 360 aren't bc...retard.

There would be no reason to have those games bc, because the same games are already on the 360; no point at all to waste time making them bc.

Previous games in a series is different, because they are not on the 360 already.  IAlso, i wouldn't doubt that top spin 1 would be bc adventually.

they code the emulator to wrork with games a,b,c,d,
because games a,b,c,d, ar the most popular.
if games x,y,z, end up working under the code of games a,b,c,d bonus.
so now they have to work in games e,f,g,h
in doing so games b & c have bugs
and they work out the bugs but now game y doesnt work...
so now they have to figure that out and when they do game a has bugs....
emulations isnt some cut and dry application and anyone who says they arent working fast enough or hard enough is ignorant.

I wasn't referring to you so much as some of the previous (now hidden) posts which had some fairly COLORFUL language... I don't think many people realize that XS now carries rules against foul language  wink.gif

Hmmm... I wouldn't say no point. There is certainly a point. System Link.

I didn't get rid of my Xbox. I would love to take it upstairs and play Burnout Revenge with my wife over System Link as we can with Halo. Using Burnout Revenge as an example; the game was released in September, you would think that MS would have made EA/Criterion be on board with BC with games released that close to launch.

I really doubt that the 360 version will system link with the Xbox version....its a shame.

I must be stupid. what is sp4?

As is said above, have you not noticed that any game that has recently come out on xbox and 360 is not backwards compatible? Keep up the research!

Here's a link to get you started. www.XBOX.xom. I know you may not have heard of it but it's got some relevant information.

Also is English not your 1st language?]

During the spring we actually had a blog from the very guy working on the BC, but nobody has mentioned it for months now and I dont remember the url. It was full of stuff about how he was hired to do this job and how its really difficult to do etc.  unsure.gif

I highly doubt that it is only 1 guy who is working on the backwards compatibility.
