2d Fighters On Xbox 360
« on: January 08, 2006, 01:47:00 PM »

I would love to play my 2D Fighters on the XBOX 360 across XBOX Live.

None of the 2D Fighters are Supported!!

I Used to have 2 XBOXs but when the one that I had modified busted I moded my XBOX Live console and was hoping to play these games on my 360 on LIVE.

I've emailed M$ to try to get these titles prioritized.

1. Guilty Gear XX
2. Capcom Vs. SNK 2
3. Street Fighter Aniversary Collection
4. SNK Vs. Capcom Chaos
5. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (not LIVE)

I would love to meet any one of you on XBOX LIVE and kick your doughy ass but I can't unitl they're supported by the 360 so I was hopeing poeple could email M$ and asked these awsome fighters to be supported.

If any one knows of a link to a petition or would start one that would be great.

PS I have Dead or Alive 4 but honestly I kind of suck at 3D Fighters. lol

thanks

Mortal Kombat 2, please for gods sake... The only reason SF2 is being released, besides being a classic, is it will draw a bigger Japanese audience to push a few more console sales. Ive been spamming this on all the forums even went as far to contact  Midway about their plans.

Im not going to be greedy and act like I'm the only one who wants to see it... I know there are others who respected the first two ports of this arcade smash before it went 'Batman and Robin' on us. M$, Major Nelson, whoever is affiliated with any desicion on this, if you are reading, please stop and take a second for your LOYAL American fan base, we love the original Mortal Kombats... Lets get them up on Live... We enjoy cheap life like 2d murderings... Hell, where do you think Fatal1ty got his name ? nuff seid..

Agree 100%

Im wondering if converting MK2 to a LIVE enabled game is going to take more time than they want to spend.
Wouldent they need to completely re-work it? please correct me if im wrong.

Theoretically, it shouldn't be hard if they can get MK: Shaolin Monks to work BC because that has MK2 as an unlockable game.  Then it would just be a direct port over to XBLA.  However, theory rarely coincides with reality, so I'll just say that I would be surprised if Midway DIDN'T see this as the proverbial golden opportunity to make some extra IP cash.

why did Peter say that when I was playing online games with the Netlink in late '96? maybe because we had to buy the modems seperately and with the DC it was built in.

I met some people in the irc netlink rooms using the browser, and ones guys name was XbandGuy. I didnt even know what Xband was until he told me. Guess I missed out on that whole thing.

Playing duke nukem and sega rally online was awesome back then. Only thing that sucked was no communication between players, we couldnt even type to one another while gaming.
