I talked to my friend who is a Store Manager here in the States,
and supposedly Blockbuster is not going to have games for the 360
until late spring because of the lack of systems.

My wife is a store manager at a blockbuster and they are debating on renting 360 games and on of the suggestions from the higher ups and other store managers in the meeting where then when and if they start renting 360 games that a $25 deposite be left via your credit card for each rental due to scratching and not returning the product.

it was a pretty strong feeling that this policy will go into affect if they do start renting them.

i say if you have a hollywood video store near you then go get a membership just for renting 360 games because they have fully stock shelves of all games released so far and if you only have a bbv store near you and they do start renting the games then be prepaired to drop $33 every time you rent a game from them.

$25 would be returned to you if you return the disc on time and in its original condition

Meh, blockbuster sucks. Well, most rental places suck. They always have a ton of stock of the crappy games no one wants, and like one copy of the good games, and its always rented out.


I always think of the first xbox... blockbuster would have like 10 copies of Bruce Lee, and all in stock, and only one copy of Halo, of course, it was never there.

Blockbusters tied with Gamerush stores already carry 360 games to rent.  You need to have your account profile in the individual store database to rent from that store.

wow $25 bux. there is no way ill rent a game from blockbuster. i was thinking of doing the game pass or what ever its called. for $25 bux i would walk it into the store and show them and have them check it in before i would go. i think the hollywood video has the same sort of game pass. ill just go there.

mines does, they even allow 360 games on the game pass. They also held COD for me for a week so noone could rent it out... will keep this title for maybe a month
