First of all, Halo 2 supported both standard and wide screen on the original xbox. It just was not HD. Second, it is upscaled to 720p on the 360, so yes... it's also widescreen.

You could play it widescreen on xbox 1 w/o stretching too tho.

halo 2 has always supported true widescreen (characters, environments and such), just the recticle and scope zooming are not (they are stretched oval shaped).

If it's 720p it has to be ws.

So it is upscaled to 720p, but the resolution is not true 720p in the emulation?
