So This Is The Catch For Arcade Titles?
« on: December 25, 2005, 06:59:00 PM »

So my buddy downloaded Geometry Wars all good, but when his wife signs in to play it she can't.  You have to be signed in with the person that bought it.  She would have to pay for the download to be able to play it while signed in under her account.  That's totally lame.

Thats pretty stupid, but I guess it has to be that way, otherwise one person would download it, and give it to all their freinds

This is how it works.  All users can use the item on the Xbox that the item was first purchased on.  If the item is transfered to a memory card, or the user moves the hard drive to another console, the Live account that purchased the item must be signed in.
