[Legendary Badass]

I've played Gauntlet on NES before, and I must say that the Xbox Live Arcade version is a lot easier. You get all your life back when you find a exit, so this allows you to rack up a good deal of points. On top of that, an old acrade secret (the walls turn into exits) lets you get most of the achievements. My only problem is that there are character specific achievements that I can't seem to unlock. I've ran across players with them that say they have no idea how they got them. Does anyone here know how to get the "Master" achievements?

Smash TV has some tough achievements. You basically have to play near flawlessly with someone that doesn't exactly suck either. My advice is that you need to stay toward the center of the screen so that you can grab the 1ups as soon as possible. Does anyone else have advice for this game?

Some people have been asking me for Hexic advice so here it is: Create a ton of stars. Get at least 4 stars by the end of level 1. The next key is that you do not want to create the Black Pearls off the get go. Wait untill you have about 10 stars before making a pearl. This way you can manipulate stars into creating more stars. By level 7 I can make pearls and this is because all I move are my stars, and this works best when you have them close together. 2 stars can act as pivots and a star within a space of another can "share" gems. Using this tactic I went from a 200,000 score to a 400,000 in one try, and alot less time spent.

After chatting with on guys in-game, they mentioned this 8,000 point method to me. I then came to the same conclusion as you, just to sit at the first pile of bones. I racked up over 8,000 and still no achievement. This was with the wizard in a game by myself. I think I'll ty it with by brother and I playing offline to see if that makes a difference. Thanks.

they are called flowers not stars in hexic, but yea. black pearls are lame they never come in handy, i just get 3 and get rid of them

me and a buddy played smashtv last night for about an hour got 4 achievements.  still trying to figure out why i didnt get the co-op achievement though.
oh and can you say impossible?

I am beginning to think the level 20 co op on Gauntlet is impossible, well it is when you are grouped with a group of chitards that shoot all the potions and food and dont work together like I seem to group with.

For the Co-Op achievement on Smash Tv you have to play on Xbox Live. It can be tough because you only get one continue per room. I had a chance to try the 8,000 points on Gauntlet trick many ways. I've done it solo, I've done it online, I've done it with 2 players on the same box. Still I don't have any of the character specific achievements.
