I dont know what is wrong with you guys, saying sega is a better football game. You guys are crazy, Madden has the best gameplay, i loved playing it on the original xbox, the 2k series seemed more like a dreamcast game than a xbox game. I dont know why all of you are hatin, but madden has better gameplay then sega's 2k series.

Well let me try to break this down. First of all Madden the announcer, if he would ever shut up, I might actualy enjoy monday night football. The man talks because he loves his own voice.

2nd espn halftime shows and sports center reviews weekly. I loved that feature.

3rd A Emphasis on the run. Madden makes it WAY to easy to pass the ball. 2k5 was a perfect balance (if you didn't run the ball there was only a few teams who could actualy win , and bearly at that)

4th It realy felt like you were in said staidum while playing. I remember sitting there listening to the PA annoucer talk about lost children section and where to locate them. That is realism..

5th a set of announcers who announced the game and didn't talk about turkey legs.

6th A series of unlockable bobble heads... Muhahhahaha!! and trophies for everything you have done. EA has a few gamer points awards. but I loved going into my crib and staring at all I have accomplished.

2k5 was a much better game. (not graphics wise compared to madden 06) but overall feel.

This is STUPID Madden has and always will be Arcadey, FAKE, Unrealistic Football, it's very apparent that the oringinal poster has no clue as to what a REAL football game is and how it should be played, all Madden has and has ever had was Fans, I gurantee if this was their 1st football game it would get raped by gamers & reviewers alike for all it's shortcommings, the 360 Version is Awful, so when someone asks WTF is wrong with you people who like the 2K series better, I simply laugh at their ignorance, THE ONLY REASON PEOPLE EVEN CONTINUE TO PLAY THIS GARBAGE ASS GAME IS BECAUSE EA HAS THE NFL, if not for that I wouldn't have known how lame Madden has gotten, stupid QB Vision, should be how to get the QB Sacked, just a cheap ass ripoff of VC's beautious Maximum Passing. The list is far too long for me to into how terrible EA has made the series, it was cool in the late 80's - early 90's but beyond that they have been nothing more than roster updates and slightly improved graphics.... the Hit stick what a Fucking Joke.

have you even seen the gameplay or even the graphics of NFL 2K5. Madden looks more like a dreamcast game with its shit graphics. Please screw your head back on before you post anymore.

Madden's franchise etc. was great but the gameplay was very pass happy.

The 360 version is a step in the right direction but they still need to get the line play up to the level of the 2K series as well as gang tackling dynamics.

The one thing that drove me nuts with the 2K series was A) Fly routes worked too well and

it seemed that the players only could move in 8 directions..

Madden is horrible for the 360 first of allno challenges 2k5 had way more depth.

the new madden is not a real sim football game just look at the basketball for an example nba live has an arcade feel were 2k6 is a sim.

in the new madden you can hit the QB as soon as he releases the ball and they always call a late hit or they call it a fumble when the QB arm is moving forward and you cant even challenge that.the runing back fumbles when he was clearly down and they do a horrible job spotting the ball....the 2k5 series was way more balanced.

The replays the half time shows the historicle games you can re live...2k5 bar none IMO..im sure that if there was a 2k6 it would dominate.

BTW i noticed something when playing 2k6 b-ball when the game starts they show a line up of the 2k games and a football player apears do you think they have a football game up thier sleeves ..man i hope so...or maybe are making a college version....2k fans all we can do is hope.

I happen to like Madden but have never actually played the N2K version so I cannot compare. But I do have the NHL N2K for the 360 and it's not that good. The set up screens gives the feel that you are at work trying to set or program a file. I'ts just to boring and uninteresting. The game itself is lame the hits are lame, you don't really see a difference between a premier player and and average joe.

before i played madden 06 i would have disagreed with you (as 2k5 is a much better game then the madden series as a whole), after playing that bug ridden half completed game, i would shake my head in disgust and pretended that you said that without playing both games. also, Mr. Madden needs to stop telling me to "put this game away and take a knee" in the 3rd quarter.

The only credit i can give to ea is in the college football scene. but as far as a real nfl game madden dropped the ball once again i am glad i rented it. madden isnt worth 60 bucks and to think that 2k5 was only 20 bucks...if 2k6 football was arround i am sure it would burn madden in gamplay and graphics.
