nice list, surprised that NFS:MW sold so well.  Halo, PGR, and DoA3 sold a million copies at record timing, i wonder how long it will take for the first million seller.

It wont be as fast because there is only 400,000 some odd units out there, where as for xbox, 1.5 million systems sold in 5 weeks I believe. MS would have 2 get out a lot more 360s out to consumers, in turn getting more games sold. I dont see it happening this time around.

700,000??!

for 360?! where did you see that #?

all Ive seen was 350 to 450,000 were shipped.

The sales records that those 3 games broke was for US sales only seeing as it only launched in the US at first(xbox).

I do predict that the 360 will lead the next gen with the highest software attach rate like the xbox has since the day it launched  smile.gif

they will easily hit it IF they make enough and get them on shelves.

I started a thread in General showing that in the next 3 weeks, target and walmart are getting another 125,000 systems. That doesnt account for the other retailers selling them. But thats only 125,000 more till the end of December...

not terrible considering they are shipping to other territories, but its not a great # either  sleep.gif

700,000 units sounds about right if you talk about worldwide right now.  Wasn't it about 300-400k in the US and about 300K in the UK?!?!?  That's pretty damn close to 700,000...I could be wrong.

yeah 700,00 combined, but we were talking about the US, as that sales list above pertains to US sales only.

2 more days and MS wasted efforts will go public in the land of the rising sun.

i know remember how i came up with the 700,000 number, i thought i read that MS made enough PDZs for every 360 made at launch that that the total number of disks pressed were around 700,000.  is it still set that they hope to have around 1.5 million out the door by years end?  it would seem pretty accurate if they want to sell 3 million in the first 3 months.
