I just have have one question....

How well do your PCs play PGR3 and DOA4? <- the only games I care about

what a lot of people are missing is that you can hook your pc up to the same 55" tv that you hook your xbox to. the same surround sound system  you have for your xbox can be used with your pc (you have have to go analog on this instead since most sound cards won't play games in digital out). almost all the newer video cards have hd outputs along with dvi and vga.

i have both my x360 and a pc hooked up to my home theater and i wouldn't part with either. my htpc is by no means my main gaming machine, but it can hold it's own with most of the current games, esp since it's only playing at 1280x720.

sorry to add to this old topic but i read through most of it and wondered why noone mentioned to compare both xbox and 360 on 480p, since most xbox games play in 480p anyway, comparing game cube with an HD pack against an xbox with composite im sure the game cube will look better

i bet there isnt a whole lot of difference on these ports if compared both in 480p

why stifle the 360's graphical power when compairing...

why not upscale the Xbox 1 games to 720p for comparison...

that would be the most accurate comparison.
