To clarify, the "new" version of Halo or Halo 2 is simply the disk you have already. Pop it into your 360 and it'll load up just like before. You will have to log into Xbox Live to enable Halo 2's online functions, but both games will work immediately. -Bungie.net

You can play on live but until they patch it youre better off playing it on the old xbox. I cant stomach the messed up voice chat, music glitching, and random short-term freezing on the 360's emulator.

When you play halo 2 on live are you only playing people with 360's? or can people with the 360 and old xbox play together?

One thing that I've noticed is that the menu on Halo 2 is very quick to respond. I had a hard time getting used to the new controller's triggers when it comes to firing the BR.

You can play against people that have 360's or people with normal xbox's. You can also do system
link with the two systems

You can play together, but I have had in-game communication issues

Yes..you can still play Halo 2 on xbox live on the xbox 360.

Yeah other than in game communication problems everything else has been fine. I don't usually talk during team games anyway so its not that big of a deal to me

Casual Halo2 players probably won't see a difference, but there is some slowdown and glitches in the emulation. The timing seems a little off too; shots I know I would usually make just don't happen with the 360.

It looks like I will only be playing campaign on my 360. I will only play on Live with my Xbox.

Are you able to have 2 people playing split screen on xbox live? I was trying to do this and it kept on telling me that I can't go on live with a guest account in addition to my regular account. any ideas?
