Stuttering Issues In Hd

With my knowledge, the games are always running at 720p, so I don't see how you can see a difference. The scaler chip just scales the res down or up to whatever resolution you want -- you recieve the same data in 480p as you do in 1080i.

i have played halo 2 on BC just to see the difference and it runs faster and smoother for me.  there is no jittery action in the menus and the game runs as good during gameplay.  didnt really play it that much but enough to get an accurate opinion.  also i think carlo is right, all games are being rendered at 720p and just being scaled to your chosen resolution from the scaler chip so changing the resolution shouldnt make any difference in the performance.
