iamwithstupid.gif If your such a die hard computer dork why are you here??  I can't wait for this game.  Judging on what I've seen Valve's done a great job with the resources the xbox has.  Lets see $3000 PC VS. $150 XBOX nuff said

Apparently, you have to have 1000-3000 bucks lying around every year for games to be a 'hardcore gamer'.
I learn something new each day.

By the way, the PC community is a shitty one (if you think the online community is bad on consoles, wait until you get on the 'I'm so uber, you are n00b, my pc pwns yours, and you're a shitty gamer!' pc community. It's worse than 'immature', it's 'pro-me'. I'd pick immature 13 year olds over the majority of gamers I've played against online any day. One small reason: at least the 13 year olds have school and family affairs to go to....

This game is NOT in widescreen, which is a bummer. It raises one question, if the xbox 360 will upgrade games to 720p then what will it do with 4:3 games seeing as 720p is a widescreen only format?

Does anyone know if when 1360x768 is toggled, are the games rendered straight to that resolution, keeping the pixel-perfection of current LCD televisions to most optimal (1366x768 is the resolution used in LCD's nowadays).

I think it'd first check if your tv is compatible, but I agree that playing higher res on a lower res set looks a lot better.

Good thing it's coming to 360.  Looks like it could benefit from a little AA.

sad.gif ) oh well, you can only squeeze so much in a game.

I've noticed that there are two types of gamers. happy, optimistics types (myself included in that group), and the cynical, impossible to impress, etc etc.
Look how far we have com in such a small amount of time. I am way impressed with what is out there. Especially can't wait for the 2nd generation of 360 games to come out (gears of war, prey, too human, mass effect). None of us have even utilized the live features yet. Give it time folks. Lighten up and enjoy the expierence. You'll have way more fun.

What I'd like to see are some games that have high-res textures hidden on the disk that can only be utilized in 360 backwards compatibility mode.

Does any one know if the Xbox 360 has some sort of over-scan correction?
Would the Xbox 360 be able to resize the picture on the screen to fit my actual TV?
I'm just asking because the picture on my TV has about a 2" over-scan on all sides.
Thanks.
