The only animes I used to watch as a kid was Pokemon and Digimon. Pokemon was a great show for it's time (fad or no fad, they are still enjoyable), but Digimon was just too goddamned complicated.

The best looking anime movie out today is Appleseed. Unbelievable, they should all be done that way.
