Awesome.  I'm not getting overly excited until I see the good, but I'm getting shakes waiting!  Speaking of SNK, I'd love to see a Samurai Showdown come to the 360.  As long as they get away from those scalar sprites, I'll buy it.  Bring on the vector sprites!

Samurai Showdown 5 is getting a release on the original Xbox...and in all honesty the 2D games were the only ones i wanted BC for...so hooray for 2D!

Part 5 and part 5 'Special' came out on the good old Neo Geo...but now Special is headed to the Xbox:

I have not played it yet, but all the other SS have been good...this will be a good 2D teaser for when I start going crazy from the inevitable wait for Street Fighter 4...

Fist of the Northstar is looking great... but my only problem is, don't people BLOW UP when the characters punch them?  That was the whole motif of the anime wasn't it?

I just checked out those vids and I can't say as I'm wowwed by it yet.  I think it's the animations that get me.  The hair blowing in the wind... it looks like a .gif file that has 2 animation segments.  Same with the clothing.   And things look very sped up.  Since when does water fall faster than 9.8m/s^2?  It's one thing to have crazy animations, but people shouldn't move like they're on speed.

I guess I'm looking for NEW, not just more.  I'll be patient though.

Street Fighter... is too boring...

I remember saying I don't play any fighting games... can I say I tried it? you know rented it...

SEGA\Sammy is developing as I type.  I think it will be interesting to see Sammy's perception of classic Capcom characters.  They've obviously borrowed from both camps with their GGs.
