consoles dont have shit running in the bg so by nature, they will run games more efficiently, if done correctly.
do you guys even understand/comprehend what the Ati R500 core is capable of? it makes current GPU's look archaic, from what we know.
Add in the 360's frame buffer, and that just killer.
If Capcom uses more than 1 core, the possibilities are endless. I could use a few examples, like Doom 3 on xbox.
I know this isnt scientific, but go get a pc that has a 733 Mhz cpu, 64 megs of ram, a geforce 3 or 4 and see if it even installs the game. hahaha that would be a sight.
Im sure you get the point.
A console game thats tailored for just a console or 2 will always beat out a pc game that has to be made to support different OS's, 19 video cards, different cpu speeds and available memory.
do you know what HL 2 could look like on the 360 if it was made around just one system? :drool
Those Resident Evil shots are about what Id expect out of a 2nd gen 360 game. Give it 3 or 4 years and I think youll be blown away with what the next batch of consoles can do.
