Now, I have done a search for this to see if there was a dedicated post to this in the games section and I got only keywords in posts.

I am a hardcore NG fanboy. To this day I still play just for the fact of boredom and wanting to get better. I myself never got the chance to particapate in the Master Ninja Tournament because by the time I purchased the game and finally got XBL it was long over.

Tomonobu Itagaki-San has said that it was in it's first stages of development and is long from any type of completion as for the fact that they are focusing on the DOA series first to be completed, and that NG: Black will be out in September (I believe that's correct) to hold over some people and target the gamers who do not have XBL but want the content. I also read somewhere that he believes that the X360 is the best and overall cosole that is ging to be released, so I have no doubt against the speculation that it might be PS3 and not X360.

Is anyone else HIGHLy anticipating this game within the next couple years as I am? And, does anyone else think there will be a Master Ninja Tournament 360- stylie? Also, what would you like to see this time around?

All flames aside as I know they will come, as always, I know this is far from now but I would like honest opinions besides, "We just have to wait and see.....you know nothing BLAH BLAH BLAH"

i don't and never will have XBL so NG: Black is going to be amazing for me. i consider myself a hardcore NG player but i'll never have the luxury of playing against other players.

for NG2 all i hope is that they keep the core of the gameplay exactly the same, and basically just add stuff to make an already perfect system even better. if you think of how cool NG is now, graphically, and gameplay wise, just think of how it will be on the next system.

i mean imagine like 50 fiends on the screen at one time. oooooooo

I most definitely agree. The hardest difficulty on NG now with a little practice is not that hard. NG: Black is supposed to have an even harder level for people who have mastered the game, but I doubt it will be the impossible that I am so looking for.

I am indeed looking for a harder difficulty, improved graphics on the already state of the art graphics, true smart AI, bigger weapons selection, maybe an armor/clothing upgrade, and a more free-range/roaming enviroment. Maybe some kind 2 player, but that's outside of the NG series. I was thinking leveled charcters in a battle type setting (off and online) and maybe a type of co-op with an alternate ninja chracter.

It would be nice if it actually came onto the x360, but ps3 is a tasty option for team ninja.

Itagaki already stated that he and Team Ninja believes the X360 will be the best choice for making state of the art games. He also mentioned that the Japanese market thinks there is dishonor in working for Americans, hence letting us win (or soemthing along those lines). He just mentioned that it might not be an Xbox exclusive this time around. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.

NG: Black will have 'Master Ninja' difficulty. It is estimated that only 1,000 people in the US will complete it at this difficulty (obviously itagaki underestimates gamers)
