Hmmm I just have to say yes ea does usually(not always) deliver unoriginal crap, but to stereotype them like that is just wrong. Just look at spore that looks original and great!

I don't think you should label EA as being poor on a whole... IMO it's EA Sports in particular that blows... Madden looks like ass this golf game looks like ass... etc.

The EA Sports BIG and the regular old EA divisions put out lots of good stuff IMO In terms of current gen stuff the SSX series looks fantastic as does Burnout series, Underground isn't bad, and the Godfather game looks great for current gen.

You can't make blanket statements about a company that big... it's like Saying MS makes shitty products when we all know that the Xbox division does a pretty damn good job.

You have to remember though that most of the good divisions aren't actually EA they are smaller company's that were bought out and they put EA name on them, of course you can't label an entire company but on average their games are of lower quality, and that is due to that fact that they have to run on all three systems.

ya it was blanketing.. i know not EVERY EA game blows,, it was an exagerration.

but now spore was actualyl thought up and headed by will wright wasnt it? its not a typical EA product, are u sure EA didnt just let his team make it and thenbuy it out or heavily compensate him?

one thing that could be said is that most EA games lack effort of some sort.

nascar only having 4 player online?!?! with a game based around a huge number of cars they could have atleast bumped that number up to 8 or 12, but no they just slapped it over from the ps2 version. and in honesty any EA game ive seen online on xbox just seems like a half assed port from the ps2 with very little live enhancements. the MoA series has taken a real dive and holds no interest to me. games being developed for the ps2 first then scaled up for the xbox and gamecube holds back the better systems for lack of technology and innovation.

like someone said they should make games for the xbox ground up and then scale it down for the lesser consoles, that way it would still look great for the other gem of a consoles but actually take advantage of the xbox.

just look at the head of EA Don Mattrick, now that guy is a tool through and through. hes a perfect reflection of his BS company
