Duke Nukem Forever will be shown at next years E3?!

Umm, this years just ended and they arent planning on showing it for another year?!?!?!

Just for those that arent aware...

This game, err piece of vaporware is the king of ALL vaporware talk. Its been in development since '98. It started using the original Unreal engine, then it was moved to the unreal 2 engine, and until today, I hadnt heard any news regarding it in the past couple years.

The reason it hasnt come out yet is because 3drealms DNF team is a bunch of dumbasses. I used to have direct contact with the DNF team until 2001. They never know which game engine to use and believe me when I say this. They have gone through about every great game engine since 1998. If you are doing nothing but porting over to a new engine, how far do you expect to get with game production? They have screwed themselves because they want to make the "best ever/perfect" first person shooter. The game is getting closer though, so your are not out of your mind deftech. I know we have all been waiting long enough and it is getting very old. Then again I did nothing but wait through the delays for Half-Life 2.

In 2001 they started using Unreal tournament, but in 2002 they scraped the entire game and started from scratch with their own engine, everything in the game is designed by 3d realms, supposedly the engine is finaly completed, but I wouldn't be surprised if they announced another engine change and the game is delayed several more years, If they are telling the truth then the game should be out in a year or two. Even if the game has incredible sales, I don't see how they will make much of a profit due to the 10 years of development time, including restarting from scratch 3 time.
