Anyone Making A Karaoke Cdg + Mp3 Rip Player?

And I figured if XBMC doesn't have it built-in, is anyone working on a stand-alone player for this sort of format?

(Might as well not have them duplicate effort if anyone is)

I know you can convert the files to get them to work with Xbox Music Mixer's Karaoke function, but it's a pain in the arse, and you have a file limit (250?) to deal with, as well.
I would be terribly psyched for such a piece of software, I have a bunch of friends out here who like to go out to karaoke. It's save a bunch of money, and I could actually make playlists of songs we'll want to sing.
