Wireless Network Settings Are Not Saved

I'm using the wireless network adapter that was designed for the original Xbox. (this one)

Every time I start the 360, it signs into Messenger fine, but never Live.  I have to use the "Windows Connect Now" option with a USB drive to enter the settings.  Once I do that (and after testing the Xbox Live connection) everything is fine.  How can I get it to save these settings so I don't always have to do all of this?
