Wireless Bridge And Ea Network
« on: December 05, 2007, 08:19:00 AM »

Okay so all my network settings pass when I do the xboxdashboard test.

NAT is open.  I just got the fall update, I can check messages, I can even watch MAJOR NELSON and his new WHAT'S NEW FOR XBOX feature.

When I try to play a game online however, it says I need to connect to live and that it cannot find server.  I actually was trying to play madden 07.

MY SETUP

DOWNSTAIRS: LINKSYS WRTGS V6 WIRELESS ROUTER. STOCK FIRMWARE.
                       COMCAST INTERNET
                       WINDOWS XP
XBOX 360 CONNECTED WIRED TO HOST ROUTER (WORKS FINE NO PROBLEMS
                       CONNECTING
                       TO GAMES)

UPSTAIRS:       LINKSYS WRTG V2.2 DD-WRT V23 SET AS WIRELESS BRIDGE
                       XBOX 360 TO BRIDGE

Do I need to port forward these ports

The following ports must be available for Xbox Live to operate correctly: • UDP 88
• UDP 3074
• TCP 3074 .

I already enabled upnp and dmz but that still didn't work.  If i forward those port is that in the host router under the game applications tab?

I'm not to big on wireless networking yet.  But I searched around the net for some answers.

Anyone have any suggestions with this setup.
