Xbox 360 Networking
« on: May 15, 2007, 01:46:00 PM »

Hi, Xbox wont support wireless adapters other then the micosoft one or a wireless adapter with a ethernet port (dlink travel router)

I'm pretty sure your BT home Hub does not support bridged mode so you wont beable to wireless connect your routers.

Best bet would be to buy a ms supported router or dlink travel router DWL-G730AP.

Havent used that router before, but it does say its supports WEP And WPA So you souldnt have any problems there. I would suggect updating the firmware on it to the latest on aviable  once you get it.

Also note WEP Is not the best encryption it can now be hacked very simply, if your main router (bt home hub) supports WPA I would use WPA Not WEP.

Just checked your BT Home Hub router doesnt have WPA so you'll have to stick with WEP.

When you get your Netgear Router set it to client mode, Connect it to your computer and follow the information in the manuel they give you, Then just connect it to your xbox.
