Alternate Between Rgh & Retail

The only way you can do what your asking is by having a hardware nand flasher installed, and by the sounds of it you didn't install your own RGH chip. So I presume installing a hardware flashing is probably out of your skillset.

Your cheapest option is getting one of the cheaper dual or triple nand chips installed or buy another console for onlive use.

I can install Matrix trident triple nand chip for £45 inc return delivery to mainland UK.
Or if you wanted a TX Demon dual nand(which is 1000x better) then your looking at £75-80.

LDV was patched out of Freeboot images along time ago, so it doesnt matter what the ldv is on the glitched nand. Update the retial nand as much as you like as long as you have the CPU key your safe to do whatever you want.

But its always best practice to keep the ldv's upto date, so whenever you update retail nand, do a fresh dump and build the freeboot image from the new dump.

Its reccomended you disable the RGH chip when on retail nand.

What RGH chip is it?

If its a TeamXecuter CR Rev A,B,C or CR3 then just switch it to program. This should turn it off, but I've had a few that still stay on(ever so slightly) so if thats also your case then disconnect ground and that will do the trick. Or if your feeling adventurous install a switch on the ground wire, so you can disable anytime you wish.(this also works with all other RGH chips that have no disable switch).

Its a coolrunner c (99% positive) I will open it up later as I need to re-route my wiring for the nand flasher so that it will be externally accessible. May as well either add a switch inline on the coolrunner or make the on-board switch remote.
