My mate gave me a dvd with the full set of genesis roms, now i want to put them on the xbox hardrive and there alot, and i mean 1/3 that are over 42 characters, is there anyway that i can rename all files, batch file/application?

It will take me forever! i Tried dvd2xbox and it just froze, and its the latest version.

I wrote the program at http://www.socautil.com/ called fatx: file renamer that will do just that ( I even wrote the program for just that reason )

could you post the dvd2xbox.log of you copy try ? dvd2xbox is supposed to rename files to the fatx conventions so it would be nice to now on which files it has problems.
Is the dvd ISO or UDF burned ? <
