Help: Slim Won't Glitch Anymore

This might sound like it might not be the solution but I recomend you shorten your CPU_RST (blue wire) wire 10cm and reroute the wire somewhere on the top side of the mobo. This has worked for me very well and boot times goes from 5-15 secs everytime.

Is it because your switch is on PHAT and not SLIM?

I have read that this may work, problem is I didn't do the work or do I have a solder to redo that wire. Do you think it would be a good idea to trim the wire and just rewire it instead of re-solder?
I tried the switch on both PHAT and SLIM, the only reason its on PHAT is because I read it makes boot times quicker.

I highly recomend it as a personal advice, it has worked very well for me. My situation is that if I use TX-CR blue wire as it is, it will never glitch on slims... so reducing the wire 10cm did the magic.  wink.gif

Didn't work, I trimmed the wire by about 11cm and still won't glitch.

Did you try with slim switch on after the trimming?

I really don't know what much to say, in situations like this it's just like asking a doctor for a prescription by phone... he can't do it cause he needs to diagnose physicly.

I recomend you take that machine to an experienced modder.  sleep.gif

Edit: I was observing your video on youtube but I couldn't figure out if at the end if it stopped debuging (green led blinking), if that's the case, it means it made a sucessful boot to homebrew but your issue might be nand content related. Does Xell even boot up?

Also, as one day happened to me... check the capacitors right underneath the TX-CR, make sure they aren't blown or ripped off, this happend to me once and i never noticed, but normally would make the chimming noise on the fans.

Have you tried booting the console with retail nand flashed and glitch chip removed? Without Glitch chip at least?

So I had my Xbox slim installed with coolrunner since mid January and system was working perfectly, I even updated it to the latest software.

By latest software, do you mean latest dash 14719 ?
I'm not sure (correct me if wrong) but you may have to change your LDV value on your nand.
I know on dual-boots you have to but this isn't a dual-boot.

I think he means latest Hacked Kernel, if not then he needs to redo the glitch hack using donor CB 9230.
