Ok, I've built my ECC file, have 2 confirmed matching NAND dumps, and I've flashed the ECC file.

I'm using LPT and everything is detected fine. I flash nandpro lpt: +w16 image_00000000.ecc

Now, nandpro locates the ecc file. Just under the line "File: image_00000000.ecc" I get 3 other lines of script I didn't see in the tutorial:

Opt: Spare data will be initialized
Opt: Block markers will be initialized
Opt: Ecc will be re-calculated

Then, it goes ahead and writes the file all the way through to 4f with no errors. I've just never seen the above script before, so I don't know if it's an error or if it's just ignorable. Like I said, I didn't see it in the tutorial, so I figured I'd ask. Any input would be great. Thanks!

there not errors it does that when you use +16 ignore it there fine

Great, thanks alot. I've done many JTAG's in the past and never saw anything like this on nandpro, but then again, I've never used the "+" switch before when flashing or reading. Figured I'd ask anyway as this may help others.

its normal

when using plus it calculates the ECC data to program to the nand.
