Ixtreme 1.91 & Xbox Live Updating

I recently flashed a Elite with 1.91 (on dash 13599 updated via usb) and everything plays well. One thing I did notice is I cannot make an avatar or access XBox Live. I get prompt that I have to update XBox Live. Can I go ahead and accept this Xbox Live Update or will this mess up everything I've done? I would live to make an avatar and use xbox live for some arcade games I want to purchase such as Castlevania.

Next time you flash and update via usb make sure you have the hard drive connected and this wont happen. It will work fine to do this over live to install the hard drive part of the update. Or just plug the stick in with the hard drive and it should finish it for you too.

OHHHH....I was trying to use another USB dongle as a HD for save games and what not...looks like I'll have to invest on an actual 360 hard drive then
