^ not from the disk itself but you can always extract the files from the disk and just launch .xex from freestyle or any other dashboards.
anyway so how do we update the gboot without wiring the console again with a usb nand flasher? I tried the flashing the hacked image from xell but I get no power. but if I flash the same image with "+" instead of "-" (minus) with usb nand flasher then it works fine. trying to avoid opening up my slim and soldering every time a new hacked dashboard is out.

Use rawflashv3, xenon.elf along with nandflash on a FAT32 usb stick, power with eject button and in 1 min you have  nand flashed to new version.
x360 multibuilder has included rawflash smile.gif

Hi everyone, just a quick question.

When reading the NAND (using nand-x), does the console have to be powered on? NandPro keeps giving me an error about not being able to find flash controller.

The nand-x driver is installed, checked through device manager and it's fine. I have my xbox plugged in. Could it be my soldering? I literally just pushed the wires through the heated up solder that was already on the board, and they are in the right order according to the nand-x diagram.

Thanks

Console just needs standby power and not to be turned on. It sounds like your soldering should be re-done as just using the solder that was already there isn't the most effective way of making a good contact.

hi bud a simple way as you mention but try flux paste and then retouch the connections should do the trick then try also this helps once soldered unplud nandpro or usb nand reader turn xbox on off then connect nandpro reader(in your case nandx) to read nand sometimes solves nandpro errors

thanks guys, the problem was a loose connection at the nand-x side, i hadn't pushed the cable into the connector properly, doh!

suprisingly my soldering has held up, just hope i can do it again when i get my glitch chip o:

Hi,

how it goes?

Thanks

Hi,

Didnt get a chance to build and test b4 i left, I now have boards and chips, i can't see any reason as to them not working. Back on Friday so i will for sure build em then.  I was able to get some chips from Digikey, they had them in stock for 5 hours, and then they were all gone so demand is still high for these chips.

Not sure how much luck you are going to have trying to use a serial DB9 connector versus 25pin Parallel connector.

@Kipper2k:
Mate you seems to be overqualified, can you please explain me why we should bridge pins 8/11/12 together?
I don't get it...
Plus, i think that there's no point for the 100 Ohms resistor, can i drop it ?
Thanks.

The pinout for LPT port can be found here,  http://pinouts.ru/Pa...PC_pinout.shtml. In order to fully understand why those pins are tied together you would probably have to understand the Xilinx software and how it interfaces with the parallel port.

The resistors are current limiters and if you remove them you run the risk of frying something, although some people have said they never used them. Personally, if the circuit calls for them, then use them. I use the circuit that GliGli provided in the tuturial for the LPT programmer and it works fine.

Hi, Once i have the boards and build one of each to confirm they work ok, i'll release the schematic. I should hopefully have them built and tested Wed evening

Have you had a chance to test your schematics? will appreciate if you put the files here.

Guys,

I was trying to program my Slim X360Glitch yesterday with the 360gcprog and everything I could get was to see a message that didn't help in nothing. Something like: TDO seems to be stuck at 1.
I used GliGli schematic paired with Ck3 Pro for the 3.3 volts. I used 1x220Omhs, 3x4148 and 3 3k3Ohms just like the schematic ask me to use. Checked the soldering and everything seems ok.

The funny thing is that even if I run the software with nothing plugged on the LPT port, it shows me the "TDO seems to be stuck at 1" message.

I tried configuring the BIOS option for the LPT mode to EPP, ECC, Bi-Diretional EPP+ECC and nothing.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

What is the usage of pad 3.3v?

Pin 5 (I/O) of XC2C64A is still floating in schematic and PCB, what is the usage of it?
